Adam and Sarah Do Pelham, New Hampshire

(sounds super exotic, i know!)

this past Sunday, Adam and i attended the wedding of his grandpa Emery (Pap) and the lovely Betty.

it was held at Harris Pelham Inn which is right on a gorgeous lake and really is an ideal place for a wedding ceremony/reception.

i love this gazebo.

here comes the bride...(her dress was this two piece cream colored confection with pastel embroidered flowers...so gorgeous! and props to a bride in her 60s wearing any kind of white!)

it was 95 degrees out on sunday and to say it was humid would be an understatement. i didn't take any more pictures of the ceremony because i was basically stuck to my chair. i will say that it was lovely, and she had each of her 5 bridesmaids in the same dress, but different pastel colors which i think was a fantastic idea.

their wedding song was a george strait number whose name escapes me but they both sang along to each other while they danced and it was SO SWEET.

all in all it was a really nice time. i had my some preconceieved notions about what a wedding would be like when the bride and groom are both in their late 60s..but it was every bit as sweet and romantic and fun as the weddings i have been to of people my own age.

so, congratulations betty and emery!
